Campus Recreation
We offer recreational and wellness programs and activities for students, faculty, staff, and community members. We design our programs and activities to be fun, create excitement, and help our campus community lead holistically healthy lifestyles.
Work Hard, Play Harder
Welcome to Campus Recreation at Coppin State University! We offer sports and active programs and activities in our beautiful Physical Education Complex (PEC). Campus Recreation programs and facilities are open to both members and guests.
The Official Site for Coppin Campus Recreation
View program schedules, register for activities, or event reserve an athletic facility. The Eagle Recreation website is your one-stop for all things intramural and club sports.
Membership
To have full access to Campus Recreation services, you must be a Coppin student, faculty, or staff member with a current Eagle Card. For community members, we are not open yet. We are looking to have community member options starting in the Winter of 2024. Please stay tuned for more information.
Students and Campus Recreation members may check out equipment with a current Eagle Card ID or membership card. Show your ID card at the Equipment Desk on the 1st floor of the PEC, next to the pool.
Members can claim and report items in the Lost and Found. Our staff keep all items in Lost and Found for 2 weeks, and then we either discard or donate them.
Any items of significant value (i.e. jewelry, wallet, etc.), we immediately take to Campus Police.
Campus Recreation is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We encourage all members and guests to secure all valuables and belongings before entering any recreation or wellness areas.
Currently, we are only open to Coppin State students, staff, and faculty. We are working on opening to the community. For students, staff, and faculty, you will need to present your Eagle card to the front desk assistant and have your waiver signed and completed to use our facilities and services.

Club Sports
Club sports are for any student who wants to join a sport to play competitively with peers and friends, or learn something new! You don't need previous experience to play club sports—club sports are not varsity athletics.
Why join a club sport?
They can be a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and have fun while staying healthy! You might even learn things you can use in a professional setting, like leading a team, making informed decisions, and resolving conflicts.
