Are you concerned about your or another person's immediate safety? Dial 911 or call Campus Police at 410.951.3911.

The safety and security of our Coppin students, faculty, staff, and visitors is our highest priority.

We stay committed to creating and maintaining a safe campus environment, and communicating safety protocol and standards to all Coppin stakeholders.

In addition to campus-wide communication through campus email, we also use Blackboard Connect to send text alerts and SMS messages for campus notifications about:

  • Urgent information about the safety and/or welfare of the campus community
  • Notices about campus delays and closings
  • Time-sensitive alerts about registration, financial aid, and enrollment

Coppin authorizes specific University personnel to send these types of notifications via text message to mobile devices or recorded messages to a landline phone.
