Day-Black Named Recipient of USM Board of Regents Award
Coppin State University’s Dr. Crystal Y. Day-Black, associate professor and director of Faculty Development, in the College of Health Professions, has been named a recipient of a 2021 University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching.
The USM Board of Regents Awards represent the highest honor presented to faculty members in recognition of exemplary performance in the fields of teaching; scholarship, research, or creative activity; public service; mentoring; and innovation.
Day-Black was one of 16 award winners selected by the institutions and the USM Foundation. Each award carries a $2,000 prize provided by the USM institutions and the University System of Maryland Foundation.
