Biography

Jude Namanga is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Natural Sciences at Coppin State University. His research centers on optoelectronic devices for energy conversion, with a focus on designing, synthesizing, and characterizing organic/organometallic and nanoparticle materials. He and his team investigate these materials' performance in a range of optoelectronic devices, including Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs), Light Emitting Electrochemical Cells (LECs), Organic Solar Cells (OSCs), and Laser Power Converters (LPCs). Jude holds a Ph.D. in Material Chemistry from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, and has earned two Master of Science degrees: one in Advanced Materials Science through a joint program with the Technical University of Munich, University of Augsburg, and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany and another in Chemistry from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Buea, Cameroon.
